- To put a human face on some amazing technology.
- To take charge of our lives by staying informed, educating ourselves, and becoming active participants in our own health care.
- To provide people facing life changing medical procedures the chance to learn about the devices, treatment and impact of ICDs.
- To comfort and support those impacted by ICDs.
- To encourage social interaction through activities such as hikes, bike rides, walks, lunches, and picnics, in order to foster real life interactions among ICD patients and their families.
